Terms of Service
Version 2.1 · Last updated: July 31, 2026
These terms form the agreement between you and the entity operating The Gold Congress when you use this website or register for the Congress. Please read section 3 in particular: nothing we publish is investment advice.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing TheGoldCongress.com, subscribing to the Newsletter, using the Academy or registering for the Congress, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.
2. What we provide
The Gold Congress is a one-day online congress on gold, finance and wealth preservation, held on October 10, 2026, together with year-round digital services: an editorial Magazine, an educational Academy, a Newsletter and the associated registration and networking tools.
The Congress is delivered entirely online. There is no physical venue, and we do not arrange travel, accommodation or visas.
3. No investment advice
Everything published on this website — Magazine articles, Academy lessons, Newsletter editions, session recordings, speaker statements, charts, models and any forecast or price commentary — is provided for general information and education only.
It is not investment advice, financial advice, portfolio management, tax or legal advice, and it is not a personal recommendation or a solicitation to buy or sell any security, commodity, fund or precious metal. It takes no account of your objectives, financial situation or needs.
Gold and related instruments can fall as well as rise in value; past performance is not a guide to future results, and leveraged instruments can result in losses exceeding your initial outlay. Consult a qualified, regulated professional in your jurisdiction before making any investment decision. Any allocation figures or ranges discussed are illustrative teaching examples, not recommendations.
Speaker views are their own and do not represent the views of The Gold Congress or its partners.
Market data shown on this site is delayed and indicative only. The complete risk warning, the sourcing and limitations of our price data, and our position on forward-looking statements are set out in the Risk & Market Data Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
4. Registration and tickets
Registration is personal and non-transferable unless we agree otherwise in writing. You agree to give accurate registration details, to keep your access link and any credentials confidential, and not to share, resell or broadcast your access to third parties.
Free General Admission is confirmed automatically the moment you submit the registration form, and you are shown a confirmation reference on screen. Paid passes are not confirmed on submission: they are reserved pending an invoice, and the pass is issued once payment has cleared.
We may decline or revoke a registration where the details are inaccurate, where access has been shared, or where these terms have been breached — including a General Admission place that was confirmed automatically. Where we decline a paid registration, any sum already paid is refunded in full.
5. Prices, payment and invoices
General Admission is free of charge. Paid tiers are shown on the registration page in euro. Applicable VAT or equivalent turnover tax is stated on the invoice and depends on your location and status.
There is no card checkout on this website and we never collect or store card details. Paid passes are invoiced manually: after you submit the form we email an invoice with payment instructions, addressed to you or to your firm or family office, and payment is due by the date stated on that invoice.
6. Cancellation, refunds and transfers
- Paid tickets cancelled more than 30 days before the event date are refunded in full.
- Within 30 days of the event, tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to a named colleague at our discretion, on request before the event begins.
- Free General Admission can be released at any time by emailing us with your confirmation reference.
- If we cancel the event outright and do not offer a replacement date, paid tickets are refunded in full.
Consumers in the EU/EEA have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. For digital event services delivered on a fixed date, that right may be limited by law; where it applies, exercising it will not cost you anything beyond services already delivered at your express request.
7. Programme changes and force majeure
The programme, session times, formats and participants are indicative and may change. Speakers are confirmed individually and announced only once agreements are signed; a listed session may be rescheduled or replaced with one of comparable standing.
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including network or platform outages, power failure, industrial action, state action, or the unavailability of a speaker at short notice.
8. Academy, certificates and progress
Academy courses are self-paced educational material. Lesson progress and quiz results are stored in your browser, not on a central account, which means clearing your browser data or switching device resets them.
Certificates of completion issued by the Academy acknowledge that you finished the material. They are not accredited qualifications, confer no professional licence or regulatory status, and should not be presented as such.
9. Intellectual property and licence
All content, branding, course material, article text, imagery, session recordings, transcripts and designs are owned by The Gold Congress or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view and download content for your own non-commercial use, and — for registered attendees — to access replays for the period attaching to your ticket tier. You may not republish, resell, sublicence, redistribute, publicly broadcast, or use our content to train machine-learning models, without our prior written consent.
Short quotations for review, journalism or commentary are permitted with clear attribution and a link to the source page.
10. Your contributions
Questions, chat messages, poll answers and roundtable contributions you submit remain yours. By submitting them you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display them during the event and to include them in recordings and post-event materials.
Sessions are recorded. If you join a video networking table or ask a question on camera, your image and voice may form part of the recording. Tell the moderator beforehand if you do not wish to be recorded.
11. Acceptable use and conduct
You agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts or non-public areas of the platform;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download content beyond ordinary browsing;
- record, restream or redistribute sessions without written permission;
- use networking features for spam, unsolicited solicitation or misrepresentation of your identity or firm;
- harass, threaten or discriminate against speakers, staff or other participants;
- upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content, or interfere with the platform's security or integrity.
We may remove content and revoke access, without refund, for serious or repeated breaches of this section.
12. Availability and technical requirements
You need a current browser and a stable internet connection; no software installation is required. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service, and we may carry out maintenance that briefly interrupts access.
You are responsible for your own equipment, connectivity and any workplace network restrictions that could block streaming.
13. Third-party services and links
We use third-party providers for hosting, streaming, email and payments, and our content may link to external sites. We do not control third-party content or services and accept no responsibility for them; your use of them is governed by their own terms.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any content or forecast.
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, our aggregate liability arising from or connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, or investment losses of any kind.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and unsubscribe from the Newsletter with one click. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where required by law, or where continuing would expose us or other participants to material risk. Sections 3, 9, 14 and 16 survive termination.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operating entity is established, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of that entity. Until that entity is publicly stated, no specific jurisdiction is asserted here and the applicable mandatory law governs.
If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings there. The European Commission provides an online dispute-resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr; we prefer to resolve issues with you directly first.
If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remainder stays in force and the invalid provision is replaced by the valid provision closest to its commercial intent.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The version number and date at the top reflect the current text. For material changes affecting an existing paid registration, we notify you by email at least 30 days in advance; if you do not accept the change you may cancel that registration for a pro-rata refund.
