How to read this magazine

Observation, mechanism, scenario

Every piece separates what is measured and published, from the causal story we think explains it, from what might follow. The three are labelled differently because they deserve different levels of trust.

Sources you can check

Figures come from primary publishers — the World Gold Council, the IMF, the BIS, the CFTC, central bank reserve statements and the St. Louis Fed data service — and are named so you can verify them rather than take our word for it.

No targets, no advice

We publish no price targets and no recommendations. This is general educational material, it does not consider your circumstances, and it is not a solicitation to buy or sell anything.

Unfamiliar terminology is defined in the glossary. For structured study rather than standalone reading, start with the Academy.

New editions and articles are announced in the newsletter — the full archive is published openly.
